Working with the moon for magical purposes has been common in many cultures for thousands of years. The moon is certainly powerful since it is the closest object to the earth. Many admire the beauty of the moon, however that beauty is merely reflecting the beauty and light of the sun that is connected to the Higher Intelligence of this Universe.
This has been used in spell work and magical rituals for thousands of years. Practitioners of lunar magick use the changing phases of the moon, from waxing to full to waning, for a variety of healing, manifestation and unfortunately also darker purposes. Even a positive intention such as a love spell can work to limit the sender and receiver of the spell.
There is the common idea that the moon is a neutral energy and therefore can be used for both good and evil purposes. This is not entirely correct since the moon is not a natural body. I do not feel there is any innate consciousness within the moon that can be connected to. In other words, it could be considered to be spiritually empty. However, there are many lower astral beings connected to the moon, and these are not safe for Starseeds to work with. The safest way to work energetically is to call upon the Solar-Gaia circuit, this is a channel of light that runs through the physical body and connects us from the base chakra down to the crystalline core of the earth and from the crown chakra up to the crystalline core of the sun.
